I’m slowly but surely getting to photograph all of my friends and their babies and it’s my new favorite pastime. This week, meet Yang Yoon (violist), Bryan (radiologist), and Katie (aspiring ballerina)! ;)

I cannot speak more highly of babies in tutus.

Katie is just a few weeks younger than my Addie!

Katie has the BEST smile and it was my main mission to capture it on camera. CONQUERED.

Roni + Graham \\ Anniversary Session

Last year, I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Roni + Graham at HollyHedge and it was such a sweet and handcrafted day. They got back in front of my camera a little over a year later and brought along a little friend named Riot… to be officially introduced later :)

Roni made her own flower crown on her wedding day and made another for their anniversary session, because she is talented and crafty and a wizard.

My heart stops for couples who say they’ll sit in any crazy field I point to :)

And now, meet: Riot. (!!!)

I love his little ears. And his little nose. And his happy dog tongue. DOGS ARE THE BEST.

Helen + David \\ Anniversary Session

They might not actually remember this, but Helen & David were some of the first people I met at my college ministry :) After graduating (or was it the day before?), they got married, since then almost FIVE years have passed, and I got the pleasure of photographing them to celebrate their anniversary.

We started back where it all began, at Penn! Seems like I’m photographing Penn couples left and right these days, and I LOVE it!

Paule \\ Portrait Session

Miss Paule’s birthday is Christmas day, so we met up in Love Park for Philly’s Christmas Village for a little holiday scenery. It’s my favorite Philly Christmas thing, and you should 100% give it a visit, unless you hate joy and merriment :)

Paule was a quick change QUEEN and revealed approximately 16 outfit combo choices through very creative uses of layering :) No changing behind sheets for her!

Spring Trip to Philadelphia!

As I mentioned, last weekend, Kealan and I drove up to Philadelphia for a little reunion with some Philadelphians (and one Nashvillian). Of course, whenever I say Kealan and I drove anywhere, I mean that Kealan drove and I pushed the button that reclines your seat so that you can take naps. Apparently some people think that if I drive, the trip will take twice as long. I think that some people are just jealous about not getting to take naps..

A little picture tour of our trip:

We visited Franklin Square.

And Elfreth’s Alley.I made mental plans to casually move into to one of the houses when no one is looking.

We got a little sun at the Race Street Pier.

I photographed these pretty friends (their blog post is here!)

And we grabbed a few pictures after church on Sunday. Colored pants galore!

And then, “we” drove back to good ol’ Maryland. “We” also napped. Catch you next time, Phillydelph!
