The best season of the year is here! Kealan caught me dancing along to Target’s Christmas music despite my Thanksgiving rule about those jolly tunes, so maybe this will be the year I cave ;) Can you help it when Christmas decorations go on sale BEFORE Halloween? Anyway, until it’s REALLY Christmas season, here’s a little on what we were up to this fall:
Kealan and I took a little day trip to Cape May and spent most of the day eating, which is how it should be on day trips.
Kealan’s parents came up from Maryland to visit, and we did what any self-respecting Philadelphian would do: took them to a psuedo-farm at Reading Terminal Market, and went mini-golfing.
The next three pictures sum up Colby’s fall pretty well.
We flipped it around the next month and went back to Maryland to shoot an engagement session, and to revel in the fall goodness at Homestead Farms.
In October we popped over to our very favorite Terrain for their fall festival, and came home toting many pumpkins. Important souvenirs.
In October we also celebrated our two year anniversary! AH! We treated ourselves to a little session with Autumn Kern – more from that here :)
My parents and aunt came up to poke around at Longwood Gardens. Fifteen (green) thumbs up.
For Halloween, we rummaged through our closets ten minutes before a Halloween party and made ourselves pirates. I mean… we planned our outfits out for months! Yep. Nope. But we DID get Colby a delightful pumpkin costume ahead of time, because that’s the kind of people we are now.
Happy almost-Thanksgiving!
